The short answer
Dental tourism packages in Türkiye often bundle treatment with accommodation, airport and clinic transfers and sometimes an interpreter, but the details vary widely between clinics. Before booking, ask for the hotel name, number of nights, room type, transfer schedule, what happens if you need extra nights, and whether flights are included, all in writing.
- 'Package' has no standard meaning. Get the contents in writing.
- Hotel name, nights, room type and transfers should all be specified.
- Ask what happens, and what it costs, if your stay needs to be extended.
Packages are one of the most appealing parts of dental tourism to Türkiye. Instead of organising everything yourself, the clinic arranges your hotel, collects you from the airport and drives you to appointments.
That convenience is real. But "package" means different things to different clinics, and the details matter, especially when comparing offers.
What a package commonly includes
Packages often combine some or all of:
- Treatment, as described in your quotation
- Accommodation: a partner hotel for a set number of nights
- Transfers: airport to hotel, hotel to clinic, and back
- Patient coordination: a contact person, sometimes speaking your language
- Interpreter support during appointments
Flights are less commonly included. Never assume either way. Ask.
The details to get in writing
Accommodation
- What is the hotel's name and location? How far is it from the clinic?
- How many nights are included?
- What room type, and is it for one person or two?
- Is breakfast included?
- Can a companion stay, and at what cost?
Transfers
- Which journeys are covered: airport, every clinic visit, or both?
- What happens if your flight is delayed?
- Who do you call if a driver doesn't arrive?
Coordination and interpreting
- Who is your main contact, and how do you reach them out of hours?
- Will an interpreter be present for clinical conversations, not just logistics?
Insider note: In clinic operations, the package is often where small misunderstandings start: a hotel further away than expected, a transfer that only covers the airport. None of it is dramatic, but all of it is avoidable with a written list.
If your stay needs to be longer
Treatment schedules sometimes change. Ask before you book:
- If I need extra nights, will the hotel extend at the same rate?
- Will transfers continue for the extra days?
- Who pays if the clinic's schedule causes the delay?

Comparing packages fairly
Two packages at similar prices can contain very different things. When comparing:
| Compare | Package A | Package B |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel name and distance | ||
| Number of nights | ||
| Room type | ||
| Transfers covered | ||
| Interpreter for clinical visits | ||
| Extra-night policy |

Booking your own travel instead
Some patients prefer to arrange their own hotel and flights. If you do, ask whether the treatment price changes, and plan your accommodation close enough to the clinic to make multiple visits easy.

Questions & answers
Frequently asked
Are flights usually included in dental packages?
Often not, but it varies. Ask the clinic to state clearly which travel elements are included and which you need to arrange yourself.
Can I book my own hotel instead?
Often yes. Ask whether the price changes if you do, and how transfers would work from your own accommodation.
Is an interpreter included?
Some packages include an interpreter or patient coordinator who speaks your language. Ask whether they will be present during clinical conversations, not just logistics.
